- Selfie (verification image): Only visible to our admin verification team and is
never shown to other users or third parties except as required by law.
- Profile photos & portfolio: Visible to other registered users according to your privacy
settings and subscription level.
- Contact number & email: Contact number is hidden by default and shown only when allowed by
your subscription or mutual consent (or as defined in a paid plan). Email is primarily used for
authentication and system messages and is not publicly displayed.
- Chat messages: Visible to the chat participants. Admins may access messages for moderation
when necessary.
4. Deleting or modifying your data
You can request account deletion from within the app or by contacting support@shaadilist.com. Deletion process:
- Submit a deletion request via app or email. We will acknowledge within 24 hours.
- If admin does not complete deletion within 24 hours, you may re-submit the request. After 3 deletion
requests, the account will be permanently deleted.
- Note: Some logs and transactional data required for legal/financial compliance may be retained in anonymized
form for up to 2 years.
5. Not-interested / blocking rules
If a user marks another user as Not Interested:
- The marked user cannot view your contact number, cannot start a chat, and cannot message you for 30
days.
- Admins can enforce this block manually if you contact them via email or phone.
- Users may block others multiple times; repeated blocking is allowed and will be respected.
6. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:
- Service providers (e.g., Firebase for OTP and notifications, Razorpay for payment processing) who act as
processors under contract.
- Law enforcement or with legal process when required by law.
7. Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure. If a breach
occurs we will notify affected users and authorities as required by applicable law.
8. Children
Shadilist is for users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
